Kalypso Media returns Commandos 2 and Praetorians from the dusty shelves of history.

It’s hard to find a good real-time strategy game, especially nowadays when we miss the old strategy games. Aware of this, Kalypso Media is preparing to launch the graphics by improving the graphics of the two aged games. Tropico series is known for its gaming company, the early 2000s of popular games Commandos 2 and Praetorians ‘ is preparing to offer the game lovers again.

Praetorians and Commandos 2 are essentially two games developed by Pyro Studios . Last July, Kalypso Media managed to get the rights of both games from the producer company. The main goal of Kalypso is to make completely new games for each series. In addition, the company wants to awaken its old fan base by launching HD remasters for the games.

Commandos 2 first debuted in 2001 on PC, Xbox and PS2. As in the first game in 1998, the game was a real-time strategy game focused on privacy. As an agent in World War II, we were performing certain tasks. Sabotage missions to enemy bases, rescue operations of captive soldiers and assassinations against senior officers were the subjects of the game.

Pyro Studios ‘ other production of Praetorians was a Roman real-time war strategy game. First released on the PC in 2003, the production was distinguished from other real-time strategy games by focusing on tactical management of soldiers rather than resource management. Behind the popular productions of the period , Praetorians could not attract the attention of the players due to the challenging gameplay.
